Strawberry Hill ? Forever...... England?

There’s a new English pub style restaurant on Strawberry Hill, Penang.
This old cafe converted from a former holiday home of David Brown, colonial plantation owner, has been taken over to be managed by the Ye Olde Smokehouse.
Lovingly renovated, it is now a restaurant serving English fare like roast beef & Yorkshire pudding, trout and the likes of what one would find in an English inn.
The food is not too bad and it’s a pleasure to sit in the garden eating English creamed tea.
Prices are a little steep but the staff are friendly and the surroundings pleasant.
